Can I submit for roles for 11-15 year olds?

I just turned 16 and on LA Casting they are casting for 11-15 year olds. Would they really care if I submitted for it? Cuz they often get 18 year olds to Play younger and since I'm still a minor and can Pass for 15 would they care?
