Increased international relations and less outsourcing?
Your entire premise can be destroyed very easily. If the American government forced American owned businesses to follow American labor laws while operating oversea's, those businesses would just as easily pack up and move elsewhere. A business is not "forced" to operate in America and there is really no such thing as an "American" business. The millionaire and billionaire investors could easily just sell the company to a foreign investor and go invest somewhere else. Budweiser was sold to Germany. Budweiser, once an American beer is now a German owned brand. Don't ever believe the government can "force" a wealthy person or business to do anything. No matter what fake legislation they pass. And don't believe any company will forever be headquartered in America. It is very easy to move when you have an unlimited supply of capital.
